We were privileged to have Mr. Jobi Vadassery, 21st batch alumnus, who shared valuable industry insights in the second session of 'Campus to Career' for students of the Department of Ship Technology.This section encompasses an Overview of the EPCI Project Lifecycle, Fundamentals of Offshore Structural Systems, Review of Construction and Installation Methods for Jackets and Topsides, Critical Roles in Construction Management, Factors Influencing Career Choices, Leading Middle Eastern Contractors in the EPCI Sector, and a Q&A Session.
This session encompassed a comprehensive Overview of the EPC Industry, the Key Functions within EPC, the Role of Supply Chain Management, the Significance of Logistics, Career Opportunities in Logistics, Leading Companies within the Sector, Challenges Encountered in Logistics, and the Advantages of Pursuing a Career in Logistics, along with Key Focus Areas and a Session for Questions & Answers.

This section provided a comprehensive overview about the offshore industry, including various aspects such as offshore structures, challenges faced by professionals in this field, and the numerous possible career growth opportunities that exist for individuals interested in pursuing a career in this dynamic sector. As the world increasingly shifts towards sustainable energy sources and innovative technologies, the demand for skilled workers in offshore operations continues to grow, presenting exciting prospects for future professionals. Moreover, it is essential to be aware of the unique challenges involved, including navigating regulatory frameworks, environmental concerns, and safety protocols that must be adhered to within this specialized domain.




Session Four
We were honored to welcome Mr. Harish G S from the 21st batch, who shared his invaluable insights and experiences with students during the fourth session of 'Campus to Career', equipping them for their professional paths. The session provided an overview of the lifecycle of offshore floating systems, from concept selection to decommissioning, including career options and higher education opportunities.


Session Five
We were privileged to have Mr. Satheesh Kumar A S of the 21st batch, a distinguished figure in the field, for the fifth session of 'Campus to Career'. The session included an introduction to marine heavy lift operations. Students learned about the importance of engineering calculations and documentation, which are pivotal in actualizing successful operational strategies. Additionally, the topic of risk assessment was thoroughly explored, ensuring that participants understood the critical nature of identifying and mitigating risks in project execution. This enriching experience provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their respective career paths.
