Master AutoCAD

A two-day workshop to boost your design skills with hands-on AutoCAD training.

WORKSHOP 4.4

Mastering AutoCAD

The AutoCAD workshop organized by the 46th batch of the Department of Ship Technology was aimed at enhancing the technical skills of students in computer-aided design. AutoCAD is one of the most widely used software tools in engineering and ship design, helping to create precise 2D drawings and 3D models. The workshop introduced participants to the basics of the software, important commands, and practical applications in ship technology and related engineering fields

The main aim of the workshop was to provide students with hands-on experience in using AutoCAD for drafting and design. It was intended to improve their technical knowledge, familiarize them with industry practices, and prepare them for future academic and professional work where CAD skills are essential.

The workshop concluded successfully, giving participants a clear understanding of how AutoCAD can be applied in engineering drawings and ship design. Students gained confidence in using the software, which will help them in projects, internships, and their future careers. Overall, the session was highly beneficial in bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical design applications.
